Need a last-minute gift idea that's still heartfelt? These DIY, personalized photo coasters are the answer.

One of Dylan Silver's favorite DIYs — along with her DIY Guitar Shelf and DIY Word Art — this super simple, super affordable craft is perfect for the sentimental person in your life.

Purchase white tiles from a hardware store for around $1 each. Print out the photos you’d like to use. (Rach’s coaster had a picture of her dog, Isaboo!)

You can use a paper cutter or resize the photos on your computer so that some of the tile still shows underneath the photo — making the coasters look like adorable Polaroids!

Next, use a foam brush to paint a thin layer of mod podge on the tile as well as on the edges of the photo. Then, mount the photo onto the tile. Finally, seal it up with a layer of mod podge on top.

Once the coasters are dry, you can use a permanent marker to add a personalized note. Make a set of four and tie them up with a colorful ribbon for a ready-to-go gift!
