Ingredients

  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • One ½ pound bag peeled pearl onions (fresh or frozen)

Yield

Serves: 6 to 8

Preparation

In a pot, combine cream, nutmeg, and butter and cook over medium heat for 2 to 5 minutes; season to taste with salt and pepper. Add pearl onions and cook 5 minutes. Pour into a bowl and serve.
