A Month-Long "Every Day" Makeover
"Makeup to me is like a foreign language; I just don't understand it," says 32-year-old Erika. "I have so many other things to pay attention to - I have my kids, I have my job - it's the last thing on my mind." Still, she knows her lack of blush, eyeliner and lipstick is often a topic of conversation as colleagues sweetly chide her in the halls of her campus. "I say I don't care, but it would be nice once in a while to just have my makeup and hair done and not be the running joke."
Rachael loves helping out viewers find their best look and sends a hair and makeup person to Erika's home for 30 days straight as a companion makeover to the made over Every Day with Rachael Ray magazine! The spiffed up pages are intended to help busy moms like Erika find easy ways to feel special every day, explains Every Day with Rachael Ray Editor-In-Chief Liz Vaccariello. "Find a little moment for yourself," Liz encourages. "That can pay off in confidence, energy, a positive attitude that makes your day better, but also your life!"
