The 6-Foot Zucchini
"When people see my zucchini they say, 'Oh my God. What is that?'" says Apollonia, a Brooklynite who is known as "The Zucchini Lady" in her neighborhood for growing a 6-foot tall version of the vegetable. "I didn't do anything special to make it this long. I just used a little compost manure, water and lots of my time." When Rachael invites Apollonia to bring her zucchini to the kitchen table, this amateur gardener says: "I never thought my zucchini would become world famous!"
