As the star of one of TV's biggest hits, America Ferrera is used to walking the red carpet and attending glamorous events, but the young actress admits she had an Ugly Betty moment at the recent Emmy® Awards. "I was wearing this dress with kind of a separate bustle underneath ... I stand up and it just slipped out from under my dress," says the 24-year-old, who immediately hit the woman's dressing room to pin the skirt together. "This woman comes out of the stall, she's like, 'Can I help you?' and I look up and it's Julia Louis-Dreyfus. And I'm like, 'Oh, this is so embarrassing!'"

She's now back on the set of Ugly Betty where she is often surprised by big-name stars like Patti LuPone, who's made a cameo appearance. "We just sat there and made Patti sing songs to us. We were like, 'Sing that one from Evita' and she would for us," America recalls. "A dream guest that I've always imagined would be perfect on the show would be Bette Midler, who is one of my childhood idols." Rachael surprises America with a special note from Bette, who had a tree planted in honor of America through her Million Trees NYC initiative. "Are you serious?" America asks in surprise. "Oh my goodness, that is so sweet!" Then, America returns the favor to Rach's audience by offering them season two of Ugly Betty on DVD.
