Meet "The Doctors"
Dr. Phil has put together a team of renowned physicians who will be launching the most anticipated new daytime show this fall, The Doctors. They'll be making house calls, debating medical issues, helping people conquer their fears, documenting medical procedures and bringing top-notch information right into your home.
"We want to make this as personal as possible because one of the problems with health care today is that most patients have less than 10 minutes to spend with their doctors. So five days a week we're going to be there answering questions, making people feel hopefully that they can have a personal relationship with us," explains co-host Dr. Travis Stork, an E.R. doctor. "We don't want to replace someone's personal physician, we want people to watch our show and learn more about their health ... there's nothing that we could do as doctors that we could be more proud of than to educate the American public because there is so much misinformation out there."
The show premieres on Sept. 8th, but first Dr. Stork and Dr. Lisa Masterson, who specializes in women's health, are answering questions for Rachael's audience. Click on the video above to get their advice about heart attack symptoms, birth control pills and more.
