Rachael Ray: Rachael's Daytime Talkshow

Audience Incognito!

Audience Incognito!
Aired on: January 10, 2008

Comedic actress Jane Krakowski shows just how much she enjoys a gag as she dons a wig, glasses and some extra clothing for a round of Rachael's game "Audience Incognito." Jane hides out in the audience as Rachael challenges the rest of the in-studio viewers to pick out the celeb among them. Using Rachael's clues that the guest in disguise is both a singer and an actress who's on an Emmy award-winning show, one lucky audience member spots Jane and wins a trip to Mexico courtesy of Funjet.

"It's almost like doing a sketch on 30 Rock," Jane jokes, mentioning her hit NBC comedy that's on break due to the writer's strike. "It's just sad right now because we can't film but I totally support the writers and I think what they're fighting for is worthy," Jane says. "It's a fight that needs to be won and needs to be fought but it's just a shame we can't film right now."

She especially misses joking around on the set with Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey. "It's so much fun making our show too, we have such a ball there," Jane says, especially when they have big name guests. "Gladys Knight was there and the whole entire cast was singing "Midnight Train to Georgia" and we're like, 'This is our lives? This is really cool.'" But nothing can top their most high profile guest -- former Vice President Al Gore who popped in for an environmentally themed episode. "We felt really honored because we got Mr. Earth basically by getting Al Gore," Jane says. "Our crew dresses pretty casually, that day everyone came in suits and had their little instamatic cameras ... I was so nervous ... I could barely even speak to the guy but it was such an honor to have him on the program."
