Audience Q & A with the Food Legends
Mario Batali, Sara Moulton, Graham Kerr and Guy Fieri have sold a combined 15 million books and cooked for countless hours on television. What career would each of them have chosen had they not entered the culinary world?
Mario: "I would be a pool boy in Malibu - and I'd have the cleanest little drains in town!"
Sara: "I would have been an elementary school teacher."
Graham: "I had the greatest ambition to be the managing director of The Dorchester in London and wear a pearl grey tie with a pearl in it and a dress coat and striped trousers. I don't know what I would have done as a living, but that's how I would have been dressed!"
Guy: "I wanted to be a bull rider. I did that and it did not go well. I got bucked off the bull, broke my arm, got kicked in the head by the bull and bit by the dog in the area all in eight seconds, so that ended the bull-riding career! I just stuck to cooking."
