Bobby Flay's Spring Recipe
Bobby Flay is heating up Rachael's kitchen with his Spring Green Quesadillas, and as he tells Rachael, the competition is heating up on his new reality show, America's Next Great Restaurant. "I think that everybody in their lifetime at once has said to themselves, 'You know what? I have a great idea for a restaurant!'" he explains. "Restaurants are so intriguing to people, and this challenge actually gives anybody that opportunity; most of these people are not restaurant professionals."
But, Bobby points out that whoever wins the competition is expected to do more than rest on their laurels. "I want somebody who’s going to be able to roll up their sleeves and get this job done," he says. "This is not a glamor job. This isn’t like, 'Congratulations, you’ve won the lottery - you own these three restaurants!' This person has to be the working partner. So we’re looking for somebody who’s going to be really committed. I use this line a lot, but somebody who is really willing to throw themselves in front of a bus to stop this from failing."
