Celeb Hairdos for You
We've all pulled out magazine pages and brought them to the hairdresser to beg for our favorite star's haircuts, but how do you know if their 'do will really work for you? Rachael's style buddy Kyan Douglas says there are some basic guidelines you can follow to see whose hot new look will be great on you, and he is sharing his tips below!
Michelle Williams' Pixie Haircut: "The pixie is really good for a diamond-shaped face," he says. "You have this prominent jaw on a diamond shaped face, so her hair actually creates symmetry between her jaw and chin and her forehead." And, Kyan explains, this funky haircut is a great excuse to try a new hair color. "When you have a pixie, be prepared to get your color done. It begs for intense color!"
Jessica Alba's Mid-Length Bob: "A bob is really great if you have a round face, because again, it's about balancing your prominent features," he explains. "The line that’s created by the bob will sort of balance out the roundness of your face."
Sandra Bullock's Bangs: "She got bangs recently and it changed the way she looks dramatically!" Kyan says. What bangs do, he explains, is accentuate the eyes and jawline. And, he says they are great for someone with a smaller face. "If your hair were very long, you would have all this hair and a little bit of face."
