Amazing Aging Technology: How You Might Look in 40 Years
Aired on: December 11, 2012

Wish you knew what your road map for aging will look like? Think your genes would tell the whole story? "Genetics play an important role," says Dr. Freda Lewis-Hall, Chief Medical Officer for Pfizer, "but a lot of people think that genetics is like a hand of cards that you've been dealt — good or bad, that's just it. But behavior and environment play a really important role — things like sun exposure, chemical exposure and stress. These are all things that change the way your genes behave because your genes aren't just static; they tell your body to do things."

Corinne and Cara, 22-year-old identical twins, describe themselves as "party animals" and a "blast in a glass." They are beginning to worry that their smoking, drinking and fast food habits will eventually catch up to them. Watch the video above to see how amazing aging technology gives them a look into the future, and hear how Dr. Lewis-Hall says they may age on both the inside and the outside if they don’t change their behavior.
