Crafting with Soleil Moon Frye

Soleil Moon Frye first came into America's homes in 1984 as the precocious 8-year-old on the hit series Punky Brewster. Almost 30 years later, the now mom of two says she doesn't mind revisiting that character. "I love it," she beams. "People still come up and call me Punky and I'm down with it - I love it! Punky is such a big part of my heart. When I got to a million followers on Twitter I dressed as Punky as a joke and my kids were so embarrassed!"

Soleil's Twitter followers number almost 1.4 million these days, and she explains that she originally started the account when she first had questions about becoming a mom, and it soon blossomed into a parenting community for her. "I think just being authentic and being myself made people connect," Soleil says.
