What's it like to be the matriarch of one of America's most-talked about families? "It definitely is a 26-hour-a-day job being a manager and their mom," admits Kris Jenner, "because my day doesn't stop when their day does!"

Kris' hectic schedule begins with a 6 a.m. workout at the gym. "It's the only place where nobody can call me!" she laughs. The day continues with plenty of e-mails, phone calls, meetings and trips around town to manage the promotion of the Kardashian brand, from Kim's fragrance to the girls' Perfect Skin line and Quick Trim ads. But Kris says she loves doing what she does best and feeling needed by her family. "It's so rewarding at the end of the day to put your head on the pillow and think we really kicked it out of the park," she says. "It's so exciting to be able to pull that off and be really good at it and have my kids proud of me."
