DIY Wedding Table Decor
Give your wedding a personal touch and save on your budget with these simple DIY ideas from stylemepretty.com's Abby Larson. "Everything on the table is doing double-duty, which means you're getting a little more mileage out of your details," she says. And, the tips are so easy, anyone can put them together. "You can get all this stuff at a grocery store!"
Wine bottle table numbers: Print numbered labels for wine bottles and use them as the table numbers so your guests can find their seats and get started with a cocktail when they sit down.
Bridesmaid bouquet centerpieces: Cut costs on centerpieces by using the bridesmaids' bouquets in the arrangements. Use a big batch of brightly colored carnations on the table and leave a place in the middle to insert a bouquet. "You can spend a little bit more on the bouquet but save on the greater whole!"
Butcher paper table runner: Invite your guests to leave sweet messages that will become keepsakes by using a paper table runner they can write on with gold and silver pens scattered on the table.
Candy box placecards: Your place cards become party favors in this DIY project. Personalize Lucite boxes from The Container Store or a store of your choice by writing a guest's name on a box, then fill with ice cream sundae candy toppings or s'mores ingredients and leave one at each seat.
Sparkler sendoffs: Decorate the table with sparklers that guests can use instead of rice to celebrate the bride and groom as they head out for their honeymoon.
