Mally explains the mindset that can lead to nearly a decade of embarrassment about a DMV photo. "You're doing it as an errand," Mally says. "'Gotta pick up the kids, gotta go get the groceries, gotta get my license picture taken.' You're not thinking about the fact that you're going to be looking at this for the next eight years of your life. Take a little time to do your makeup, do your hair, put on a cute little sweater with a pop of color and then you can be happy when you look at it."
