Eddie Cibrian played a fireman on Third Watch and now he's a cop on the hit show CSI:Miami, but his young sons are unimpressed. "My kids actually would want me to play a Jedi in Star Wars," Eddie laughs. "That's cooler for them!"

On a more serious note, the 36-year-old actor tells Rachael how he's tried to protect his kids Mason, 6, and Jake, 2, from the tabloid stories that surround the breakup of his marriage to Brandi Glanville. "I want them to just be kids and enjoy life," he tells Rachael. "I try to shield them as much as possible. My philosophy is to try to insulate them so they're not subject to anything regarding the business and anything of tabloid nature."

Brandi has been vocal in the press about their separation, and Eddie admits that it's very tempting to respond. "Sometimes, you want to fight back," he says. But Eddie explains that he has chosen a different approach. "I don't think it's very conducive to play anything private out publicly at all," he states. "I mean, I think it's very hurtful. The unfortunate part about it is that you get only one side of a very complicated story. But you know, I'm fine with that."

Rachael shares how she has handled her brushes with the tabloids. "I just never even answer stuff like that," she tells Eddie. "I feel like if you answer it, then you just give them something else to print and you just kind of perpetuate an ugly vehicle."
