Glamour's fashion tips are no longer just for women, they've added a "Dudes and Don'ts" column to show you how to work new trends into your guy's wardrobe. "A lot of guys get stuck in a rut and they're a little bit afraid to try something new," explains Glamour Contributing Style Editor Tracey Lomrantz. "We're the ones who kind of have to coax them into trying a new trend." She's bringing that column to life right in our studio by showing a few viewers how to spruce up their wardrobes in a way they'll love!

Bold colors: Try adding one bold color to an otherwise conservative outfit. "Wear what you'd wear when you're wearing a pair of khakis," Tracey says to one viewer, "so you've got your tasseled loafer, you've got your buttoned down shirt, but instead of khakis, swap those out for something new and a little bit exciting like red pants."

Cropped Pants: Instead of buying pants that are intentionally short, guys can get in on this trend in a way that is comfortable for them by simply rolling up their jeans a bit and wearing loafers with no socks. "Keep the rest of your look casual," she adds. "What guy wouldn't be comfortable in a buttoned down shirt and a sweater? It's just that one trendy element."

Plaid: Another look this spring is to mix stripes and plaids, which can be achieved by pairing a striped shirt with madras shorts that are probably already in your man's closet. "The biggest rule is home-base color, you need to kind of choose one thing and everything revolves around it," Tracey says. "So the shorts, the jacket, the top all have navy incorporated in them and then you don't have to worry about anything clashing."
