Brothers and Sisters' Emily VanCamp
On the hit show Brothers and Sisters, Emily VanCamp works alongside acting veterans Sally Field, Rachel Griffiths and Rob Lowe, which was a bit daunting at first for the 23-year-old actress. "It's incredibly intimidating and nerve wracking," she says. "You just want to do a good job; you want to make them proud. But they're wonderful people too, and I've learned a lot from them - it's like university for me."
Viewers are well aware of the show's fictional Walker family's penchant for drinking wine, but Emily reveals that it's actually grape juice that the actors drink during the taping. "I'm not really fond of it," she tells Rachael, "so I kind of use the fact that Justin, who is played by David Annable, is a recovering addict and that I'm trying to be the supportive girlfriend - just to get out of drinking the grape juice!"
Emily doesn't mind cooking, and explains that she often calls her mom in Canada at dinnertime so they can cook the same meal! Tune in today to hear Emily and her mom discuss their ritual, and what role Emily's dad plays in the kitchen.
