If you think it's tough getting through an episode of the new hit sitcom Modern Family without totally cracking up in hysterics, imagine being in the cast! "It's hard, I'm not going to lie to you!" says funnyman Eric Stonestreet. When filming scenes with co-stars Sofia Vergara and Ty Burrell he admits they come within moments of spoiling the scenes. "It's cut right literally before we start cracking up - like the next thing you would see is us laughing!"

Eric, who is straight in real life, plays a flamboyant gay dad on the show and is thrilled people find his character Cam to be so different from his own personality. "I just wanted to fall into characters and lose myself in them and this is like the perfect opportunity," he says. Rachael asks if he is breaking some hearts of male fans of the show, and Eric says after years of not getting recognized as an actor it's a huge thrill to have so many fans. "Usually it's a fine gentleman that wants to hug it out, but that's great, I love all of it," he says. "I am proud of my fans no matter how much chest hair they have!"
