Swift Justice’s Nancy Grace
Former prosecutor, best-selling author and legal commentator Nancy Grace is back for the third time with the details on her new show Swift Justice. “I get to be judge, jury, prosecution and the defense!” she says. Though Nancy says she has difficulty showing “swift justice” with her twin toddlers at home, she has no problem making tough decisions in the courtroom, and she’s bringing her legal expertise to our studio to tackle disagreements between two couples in our audience:
Kristin and Roger
After being married for four years, Kristin is worried about spoiling her children, while husband Roger sporadically buys toys for their son. Nancy says of the couple’s children, “They’re going to grow up spoiled or not, by the example you set, not the things you get them at Target.” But, Nancy reminds them that they need to work together as a team in parenting, and not pit one against the other.
Stephanie and Alex
Newly engaged couple Stephanie and Alex are planning on moving in together, but they both feel like their styles just don’t mesh. Stephanie considers her style more modern while Alex says he has a more medieval look to his decorating style. A few of Alex’s items, particularly medieval swords and knives, are a big concern for Stephanie. Nancy’s advice? “You’re in the big league now,” she tells them. “This is marriage baby!” Nancy tells them that they will need to learn to compromise when they move in together because it will be “their” house together.
