The Biggest Loser's Bob Harper
Bob Harper is always dishing out the encouragement at the gym as a trainer on The Biggest Loser, but he jokes that it's not as much fun to be the one receiving the critique during a workout! "I get the watchful eye, [fans] want to see what I'm doing," he says. "There was one time I was in the gym I was tired, I was traveling, all I wanted to do was put my headset on and just get a little bit of cardio in and somebody walks up and says, 'You could go a little bit faster!” ... I was just like, 'Yeah, I probably could, but I’m not right now!'”
Rachael admits that when his fellow trainer Jillian Michaels drops by, she likes to poke fun at their relationship on their reality show. Rach jokes, "We raz Jillian all the time! You play good cop and she plays bad cop. So how does it feel to be the good cop?”
“If Jillian was sitting here right now she would just be saying, 'It’s all a lie! Bob is the mean one,'" he jokes. "It's not true!"
Bob is teaming up with Quaker Oats for their Amazing Mornings campaign to encourage healthy eating and remind everyone that good nutrition starts with the first meal of the day. "You need to get your body revved up," he says. He suggests having something healthy within 30 minutes of waking up. "I want you to get up, have a bowl of oatmeal that's going to give you the complex carbohydrates that you need, the fiber that you need and then - boom - you're going to feel satisfied longer!"
