"Go to a barbecue!" suggests Gossip Girl's Jessica Szohr, who grabbed the role of Vanessa after being discovered by the show's producers at a cookout. She's now having a blast playing the trendy New Yorker, but admits she's more of a small town girl at heart. "I grew up going to rummage sales with my grandma and my mom," says Jessica, who relies on her Gossip Girl wardrobe team for her character's ultra-hip outfits. "I could never pull these off!"
