Gretta's At-Home Body Wrap
Gretta shows you how to whip up an at-home formula for a body wrap to detoxify your skin while turning your bathroom into your own spa! French clay has been used forever, you can get it at your local health food store, literally you can buy a pot of it, or go to the beauty supply — [it's] under $10!"
Gretta's Clay Body Wrap Recipe
• Boil 2 cups of water and add ¼ cup sea salt until it dissolves.
• Add 1 cup green clay, 2 tablespoons olive oil and stir to form a wet paste.
• Rub the mixture over your entire body and cover yourself with bandages as a wrap. The wraps should be warmed either by microwave or warm water.
• Lie in the tub and relax for 45 to 60 minutes.
• Be sure to take a warm shower before your wrap to open pores and make your skin receptive to the minerals. Remember to drink lots of water before, during, and after to help flush out toxins.
