Rachael always loves a good double-duty tip, so she turns to you for ideas! Check out these cool uses for vacuums and dryer sheets:

• If you've lost the backing of one of your earrings on the carpet, take an old pair of pantyhose and secure them to the hose attachment of your vacuum cleaner using a rubber band. Run the hose over the area where you dropped the backing and the backing will get trapped by the pantyhose!

• To make your whole room smell fresh while you're vacuuming, place a dryer sheet in the hole of the vacuum cleaner bag. This chore just got a whole lot nicer!

• Lamp shades gather lots of dust due to the static electricity caused by light bulbs. Use a dryer sheet to wipe down the shade; not only does it pick up any dust and lint, it protects the shade so that it will gather dust less quickly.
