How to Carve a Turkey
Grab a knife and get ready to rule the table with Rachael's tips for carving the perfect turkey:
• Let the meat rest.
• Stabilize a large cutting board with a wet paper towel or dish towel underneath it.
• Cut the turkey along the breast bone with a sharp knife, pulling the meat away from the bone as you cut so you can see where you're going.
• Cut down and around on an angle, separating the entire breast from the bird.
• Carve the breast on an angle, then place pieces on a serving platter.
• Now that the breast has been removed, take off the the drumstick and then repeat on the other side.
