The film Watchmen pulled in over $55 million at the box office in its first weekend, and it's no surprise to Rachael why the film landed in the top spot. "I loved it! I absolutely loved it ... I was ready to see it again literally the next day!" she exclaims.

The film is attracting moviegoers who have held so dear the graphic novel upon which it's based since it was released in 1986. "The comic book fans, I think, are the first ones that you see," explains Billy Crudup ("Dr. Manhattan"), "because they're avid followers of this material. This stuff is pretty substantial to them, so they've been pretty intense."

Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("The Comedian") agrees. "It's like the Citizen Kane of graphic novels to them. It's like the Holy Grail."

But fans of the graphic novel are not the only ones showing up in droves. "What's been interesting is when you see wives or mothers or people that were dragged there -- even the reporters that we would see there -- who would go, 'I don't usually like these kinds of movies, and I love this movie!'" Patrick Wilson ("Nite Owl II") adds. "That's what's so cool, to see how it branches out into a real wide audience."

Though the movie has dark and serious undertones, Jeffrey Dean Morgan reveals that making the film was a different story. "The three of us are goofballs," he admits, "so we had a lot of fun making it." The good-natured ribbing between the three actors is evident when Jeffrey describes their filming schedule. "Six months of shooting," he says, "and then a couple months of training ... for those of us who had to."

"Oh yeah," Billy says with a smirk. "A lot of training." Billy was not required to bulk up because his character Dr. Manhattan was mostly computer-generated, but Patrick says Billy would still drop by the gym to support his co-stars. "He'd check in," Jeffrey confirms, "and laugh at us!"

Everyone gets a laugh when Billy's brother Tommy, senior talent producer for Rachael's show, surprises Billy, Jeffrey and Patrick by dressing as Dr. Manhattan.
