We scoured the globe for beauty secrets and now you can find out how to get shiny hair by way of Greece, a glowing complexion courtesy of Japan and moist, clean skin with a little help from Romanian mud.

"Romanian mud from the Lake Amara region has minerals in it that contain amazing healing properties," says beauty guru Jenn Falik. "It's a cure-all that protects your skin while making it more moist, clean and cool." The Cornelia Essentials Age Intervention Masque uses the minerals from the mud to help balance and cleanse your overstressed skin.

"This is one of the most popular shampoos in Greece -- and the shiny hair Greek women have prove its effectiveness," says Jenn. The multivitamin Propoline shampoo contains propolis, which is a wax-like substance used by instrument makers (to better show wood grain) and Holistic healers for its antibiotic-like properties. This shampoo removes product buildup and nourishes and hydrates hair.

A Japanese monk discovered the leading ingredient in this product. On a trip to a local saki brewery he noticed the workers had soft, young looking hands despite some of the men being quite elderly. The monk conducted experiments and discovered a nutrient-rich liquid that could be extracted from the saki. "This company created a product called SK-II which takes that saki extract and turns it into moisturizer and skin glowing treatments for your face," says Jenn.
