Between her self-titled show on HLN and her time spent on The View, Joy Behar, is a very busy woman and Rachael wants to know if she can keep it up and remain on CNN for as long as Larry King. “How long has he been on there, like 50 years? … I have no idea – I live in the moment,” Joy explains. To prep for her shows, she reads everything – including the National Enquirer! “I must have the Enquirer, I’m not one of these people who sneaks it at the supermarket, I have a subscription… I read everything, you have to!” Her newest adventure, a part in a major motion picture, Hall Pass, was an unexpected addition to her resume! “The Farrelly brothers called me and they had to have me for this part,” says Joy, who was thrilled to grant that wish. “I flew to Atlanta and played this shrink … who tries to explain to these two girls who are talking about possibly their husbands cheating, that maybe you should give them a hall pass and let them find out what it’s all about, so that’s my part.”

Another new project Joy has been involved with is Bayer Aspirin’s I am ProHeart campaign, which is spreading heart health awareness. Coming from a family with a history of heart disease, Joy and her daughter, Eve, joined to remind other families to talk to each other about their health. “We were asked to do this together because you know, you’re supposed to take care of your mothers,” Joy explains. “All these years, we slaved we ripped our guts literally for you – now it’s time to watch out for your poor old mother!” Rachael reminds us that many people in this country, not just mothers, are at risk of heart disease and they agree everyone needs to watch out for each other when it comes to health.
