Before Joy Behar attempts to "Stump the Rach," she sits down with Rachael to set the record straight on the rumors that are circulating about The View. As the show's "Hot Topics" increasingly focused on politics this season, Joy and her co-hosts were criticized for being too harsh on their guests ... and each other. "It is called The View -- it's not called The Nice View!" Joy explains. "We do have good ratings, so I think people do enjoy seeing lively arguments between women. I mean, that's the way women talk to each other when things get hot. They always say, 'Don't talk religion or politics.' Well, those are the two topics we like the best!"

Joy tells Rachael that despite the heated debates she engages in with her conservative co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, there is no truth to a real-life feud between the two women. "She and I are pals," Joy says. "We're friends! The minute the camera stops rolling, we're discussing her daughter ... we have a great relationship outside of the show."
