Kevin Bacon is racking up critical praises and awards for his HBO film Taking Chance, which tells the true story of a U.S. Marine assigned to escort a fallen hero's body back from Iraq. "The reaction is a lot different from any other film," Kevin says. "People stop me in airports and say thank you for doing this ... the film seems to have affected people in a very, very deep way."

When the veteran actor is not on a movie or TV set, he does most of the cooking at home for his wife of 22 years Kyra Sedgwick. "I'm OK on the grill," he says. "I do like to cook though. What I like to do is really improvise; that's my favorite sort of cooking!"

Kevin is teaming up with another gorgeous Hollywood star, Demi Moore, to promote the Pepsi Refresh Project, which encourages entrepreneurial programs that have a positive effect on a neighborhood or the country. Everyone is encouraged to post ideas on the Refreshing Everything Web site and compete for votes to win a grant from the beverage company. "Pepsi will fund these ideas over the next year - $20 million worth," says Kevin.

He and Demi have put their own ideas up there, too. His would use the grant to buy Good Cards - a gift card that has cash value and can be donated to charities. He even gives some to our audience!
