In the Kitchen with Eva Longoria
Eva Longoria is giving you a peek into her family and her life in her book, Eva's Kitchen, which includes personal photos with recipes. "Cooking for me is very therapeutic," she says, noting she learned to cook as a child while preparing dishes like Enchiladas Rojas with her three sisters. Now, Eva hits the kitchen after days on the set of Desperate Housewives. "I go home and I actually enjoy it and I love to be in the kitchen ... It's just 'me' time."
Eva opens up about life after divorce. "I'm so domestic, so I had a really strong identity in being a wife, and so [I'm] kind of finding myself again," she explains. "That's been - not even challenging - it's been fun. It's been like, 'OK, here we go!'" And, Eva has plenty of friends to help her find her way. "Two of my girlfriends live with me. I'm like the mother hen, but it's like the sorority house!" she jokes. "We're always cooking ... I'm on set filming a scene and they're like, 'What is for dinner?' I'm like, 'Girl, I'll be home later, figure it out!'"
When it comes to dating, Eva says she mostly meets men through friends, but that doesn't stop admirers from approaching the sexy star. She shares one pick-up line she heard while promoting her book: "So many guys were like, 'I'm going to cook out of your book so you can come over!'" Eva jokes that their advances made her want to ask for her book back. "I'm not good, I get really nervous!" Rachael asks what she wants to add to her life in this new chapter, and Eva sweetly answers: "Kids ... Be a mom."
