Lipstick Jungle Beauty Tips!
Rachael crashes the set of Lipstick Jungle to get some beauty tips from the show's glamorous cast and they open their dressing room doors and spill their favorites. Working mom Kim Raver offers up a stress management tip for those trying to manage a busy day. "It's so crazy and so hectic on a set that I just want to share my favorite thing and it's a candle. It's a Votivo," she says. "Coming to set with my newborn baby and my 5-year-old, I just kind of light the candles in my room and that's like a little moment of calm."
Calm can be tough to find as they film the show in New York City, and portray the lives of glamorous and busy high-power executives. Cast member Lindsay Price says she wants her skin to look sun kissed for the slinky fashions. "When I first came here they sent me to a tanning place where you stand completely naked," Lindsay says. After that experience, she found Roxanne Rizzo Instant Bronzer as a suitable replacement. "This I can do in the privacy of my own dressing room or shower which is genius, because I really don't enjoy being naked in front of others ... unless it's for fun."
Brooke Shields has a tip for a different type of skin issue. After shooting outdoor scenes on cold winter days her hands get pretty dry, so her beauty tip is the Weleda Skin Food Hand Lotion. "I love it. I use it on my hands, I use it on my face," Brooke says. "It's all natural and it's amazing."
After showing off her dressing room, Kim heads back to our studio for a chat with Rachael and brings Votivo Candles for the whole audience!
