For five seasons (and over 200 episodes!) of Little People, Big World, Matt & Amy Roloff have been inviting viewers into their lives to share the challenges (and triumphs) of dealing with a world that isn't always accepting of differences. For twelve-year-old Maya, watching the Roloffs week after week has been a true inspiration. "They show that they can do what anybody else can do," she says. "Just because they're little doesn't mean anything, and that inspires me to do what I do."

Though Maya was born with congenital band syndrome that caused her left arm to stop developing at the elbow, she hasn't let that stop her from enjoying activities like basketball, softball and piano lessons just like any other girl her age. "Maya proves to the world that she can do anything," says her proud mother Jawana, "anything that she sets her mind and her heart to do."
