Meal ... or No Meal!
Rachael's version of Deal or No Deal involves an audience member choosing from plates containing meals of different price values -- and the game has already made a fan out of its surprise banker, Howie Mandel. "This is amazing!" he shouts. "Can I just say, I play our game all the time and I thought that was exciting, but when you play it with food ... this can change somebody's life -- you have a slice of pizza and you feel totally different!"
Howie explains to Rachael that although there are benefits to being the host of Deal or No Deal, it's not without its challenges. "It's the easiest job," he says, "because I just show up and there's no script and whatever happens happens. But the hardest part of my job is when you're looking this close into someone's eyes and you hear their hopes and their dreams, that they're in debt or they've never owned a home or they want to send a kid to college, and I say, 'The banker is offering you $200,000' -- and they adamantly go, 'No deal!' It's hard not to throttle a stranger!"
