Melina Kanakaredes may be totally in control when she's analyzing evidence and fighting crimes with Gary Sinise on CSI: NY, but in real life the sexy star says she gets caught in a "Melina moment" when things don't quite go according to plan. "For instance, we were shooting here in New York and we had these vans to get into," she recalls, explaining that there were several vehicles lined up. "The vans looked the same and I just got into a van and realized it was a laundry van!"

Melina often brings along her 6- and 9-year old daughters to the set. "They're just growing up so quickly. Gary and I used to have tea parties with them and now they're like, 'Hey Gary! How are ya?' - talking to him like an adult." But they're still not old enough to watch her CBS drama, so Melina is especially thrilled to be working on the film adaptation of the fantasy book Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. "My 9-year-old is reading it and she's so excited," Melina says. "She's like, 'Mommy! I get to see you in a movie! This is awesome!"
