It's been decades since Bono, David Bowie and a long list of rockers and teenagers turned the mullet into the ultimate hairstyle, but one of Rachael's viewers has been hanging on to the layered hairstyle ever since! "It's my mullet and I love it!" says Linda, 38, who has been sporting short hair in the front with the "party" of long hair in the back for 30 years. "My family and friends are constantly telling me that my hair is a rat's nest and I look like Joe Dirt," she adds, but the negative feedback hasn't phased her. Even after her 23-year-old daughter was too embarrassed to walk with her on the street because of stares from strangers, she refused to change her look. Taisha laments, "I've tried everything in the past, even offered to my mom that I'll pay for the salon bill if she would just go and get her haircut ... I've contacted you guys at the Rachael Ray show and just hope that somebody can convince her to get rid of the mullet!"

Linda finally agrees to give it a try under one condition: "I want something simple," she requests. "Wash it, blow dry it and go." Gretta steps in to pull off the makeover that's been in the making for decades, but jokes she's in no place to make fun of the mullet. "I wore it too!" she confesses. How does the makeover go?
