"Economic times like the ones we’re living through right now can certainly be tough on everyone - but when times are tough for humans, they’re even tougher on animals…" says Rachael who created the Rachael’s Rescue website to highlight organizations that are dedicated to helping animals in need. She also launched a competition called Mutt Madness - a competition where 64 organizations were selected to vy for the grand prize total of $50, 000 and a runner-up prize of $25, 000. Now it's down to two charities: Last Chance Ranch and Angel’s Gate Hospice.
