Women dream about their wedding day their entire life, but that can make the thought of picking out the dress a nerve-wracking experience, especially for plus-size women. "It's hard to find things that really fit and flatter, but are also stylish," says plus-size style expert and Biggest Loser contestant Nicole Brewer. She warns against trying to cover up your figure by just wearing something big and baggy. "There are so many other tips and tricks that we have to really open up your neckline or create a waist and really celebrate your curves!"

Bridal Party "I am the female version of a linebacker!" says Missy, 29, a mom of two whil will be her younger sister's matron of honor. "The other two girls in the bridal party are both young and tall and very thin ... I definitely don't want to look like an older, bigger version of the other two girls!" Nicole suggests a long, off-the-shoulder gown. "So many plus-size women think that they can't wear the one shoulder, but this really works," she says. And, she points out the benefit of the rouched, empire waistline. "It automatically makes her waist look smaller, and this is a flattering and forgiving fabric."

Mother of the groom "I have that spare tire around the middle that I'd like to camouflage, and it's hard to find dresses that will do that," says Jana, 56, whose son is getting married. "I want to look beautiful; I want him to be proud of me." Nicole asks Jana to try a structured dress that will give her a waist and elongate her figure. "The most important thing we need to do is open up her neckline, we need to elongate her silhouette," she explains. "And that rouching creates a waist for her ... In terms of trying to elongate her just a little bit, this hemline is slightly longer in the back, which is such a delicate detail, but it really makes her appear a little bit longer!"

Bride "I am not happy with any of the dresses I've tried on," says 24-year-old Courtney. She dreams of looking like a princess for her big day with her sweetheart, Steven. "When I walk down the aisle, I want Steven to feel like he is absolutely marrying the girl of his dreams. I'm hoping I can find something that makes me teary eyed ... something that's going to make me beautiful." Nicole encourages this bride to remain open-minded and not get discouraged. "There are so many options out there now, it's really about celebrating your curves and loving the skin you're in." She helps Courtney find just what she's looking for, offering this advice for others: "You have to look for a bodice that's fitted, and if you notice, the embroidery is up and down, it's vertical, so it makes the eye go up and down. It's also a drop waist, so it elongates the torso." Nicole says the rounded, sweetheart neckline also flatters curvy girls. "It opens up the neckline and it works!"
