How does this Oscar-nominated actress handle parenting, her diet and her work as a global activist? Salma Hayek shares it all in this chat with Rachael!

Her parenting style: "I would like to think that I'm going to be a strict mom, but I am not achieving my goal at the moment," Salma jokes. "She knows how to manipulate me and she's 1!" Salma especially treasures their nighttime ritual. "I put my baby to sleep every night and I love that moment, even though sometimes it takes hours."

Staying slim: When Rachael asks if Salma prefers salty or sweet foods, the sexy star admits she likes it all! She has a bargain with herself to maintain her slender figure. "You watch it so that you don't then gain too much weight and then you are upset," Salma says. "For those that do love food, I think that we should continue our love affair with food but we have to watch it a little bit."

Salma's activism: "I am now involved in this campaign with Pampers and UNICEF," she tells Rachael about her work with Pampers to fight the tetanus disease in developing natinos. "Every four minutes a newborn baby dies because of tetanus. Once they get it, there's nothing you can do, but it's 100 percent preventable." Every Pampers package sold with the UNICEF logo helps pay for one woman to be inoculated against tetanus, which then protects her unborn children. "It's so simple and so great that we can all help each other."
