Sherri Shepherd
Sherri Shepherd, one of the Emmy®-winning co-hosts of The View, turned heads when she strutted her fit and fabulous body in a bathing suit on camera after losing 10 inches - 5 from her waist. "You know why I'm so excited about this whole weight loss thing?" she tells Rachael. "I got a booty! It's like this little bubble; I've never had one before!"
Along with her new figure, Sherri has her Lifetime sitcom, Sherri, and a role in the film Precious, Sherri also published a book, now in stores. She explains the impetus for penning Permission Slips: Every Woman's Guide to Giving Herself a Break: "My third day on The View, I said I didn't know if the Earth was round or flat. I was so nervous, I'd just started, it was a bunch of women talking and Barbara asked me ... and I kept beating myself up. But I got hundreds of e-mails saying, 'Sherri, we don't care if the Earth is round or flat, I'm just trying to take care of my kid.' Whoopi was supportive, and that's when I realized we just have to say it's OK; we make mistakes, sometimes we say dumb things - it's OK."
