"Stump the Simpson!"
Jessica Simpson is no stranger to the tabloids, which often claim she has a new love interest as soon as she just hangs out with a guy. But she tells Rachael about her new strategy of dating a non-celebrity. "Maybe a chef," she suggests. "I like a man that can cook. If you know some cute chefs, send them my way!"
Jessica will soon be turning 30, a milestone she's looking forward to: "Being 29, I just feel like an old 20-year-old, so I'm ready to be a young 30!" Looking toward the future she says, "I absolutely want kids. I can't wait to have kids so hopefully, some day." In the meantime, Jessica loves being an aunt to her sister Ashlee's baby boy Bronx. "He's adorable! He did say 'Jessie' which I was really excited about."
One of the projects Jessica proudly spends her time on is Operation Smile, an organization that repairs cleft palates of underprivileged children around the world. "There's no better gift to give somebody than a smile," Jessica says. "To be able to be a part of these surgeries and help change the lives of these children has been amazing."
Jessica also recently traveled around the world for her new VH-1 show, The Price of Beauty. "We're going to all these countries and live their culture, finding out their beauty regimes and what they do to feel beautiful and how they find it within [themselves]." Of all the different beauty secrets she learned, Jessica tells Rachael about one she could do without. "I will never ever drink cow urine again! In India, it's a detox. It's supposed to be good for your skin but I couldn't keep it down!" And particularly in light of tabloid reports about her weight, her time in Uganda was fascinating. "In the village we went to, the fatter you are the more beautiful. So it's a compliment to call a woman fat!" Jessica explains.
"It's a good place to vacation!" Rach chimes in.
Jessica agrees, laughing, "I know, I would love to build a resort there!"
