Style Trials with Judge Clinton Kelly
Court is in session with style judge Clinton Kelly presiding! He's using his gavel to lay down guilty verdicts and order fashion criminals to reform their ways with new outfits from Macy's!
Wearing sneakers to a wedding
Unless you're a kid, Clinton says sneakers should not be worn to formal occasions. "Guilty!" he pronounces the sneaker offender. Clinton suggests trading the gym shoes for a versatile, black shoe. "This is a much sexier, grown-up shoe," he says. "Now you're ready for any sort of sophisticated occasion!"
Nursing scrubs outside the doctor's office
When this nurse refuses to give up her medical garb even after she has left her job to be a stay-at-home mom, Clinton offers another guilty verdict. "You know what this look says to me?" asks Clinton while looking at the drab attire. "Inmate!" He orders her to swap the scrubs for a versatile top and jacket with trendy white pants. And, he says having interchangeable separates on hand will help any new mom get dressed quickly without sacrificing style. "These are the types of things that you pull out of the closet and just go!"
Chef's coat as an overcoat
A pastry chef who wears her work jacket everywhere earns a guilty verdict from Clinton for one reason: "I don't like this because it has no shape," he says. He suggests trading it in for a lightweight linen jacket that can be worn year-round. "I'm a big fan of jackets - they complete outfits and they're great for controlling your shape," Clinton says. "And it's a little bit of a nod to the chef's jacket!"
