How many times have you been devastated after getting a mark or rip in your favorite shirt or jacket - and then only made it worse when you tried to get out the blemish? Fear not, Project Runway's Kevin Christiana shows you how to fix those stains, holes and other damages to bring your wardrobe back to life!

Pen mark on a dress shirt. Kevin says that if you can't remove the stain, you can actually make it better by adding to the stain. Here's how to turn that spot into a style statement: Find a design that you like and make a black and white photocopy of it. Then place the copy ink-side down over the the mark. Dip a brush in turpentine and paint over the design, and the ink will transfer from the copy onto the shirt. (Get some of Kevin's designs here)

Grape juice a child's dress. Kevin suggests that you use the stain as inspiration for a new color for the garment. Roll up and rubber band the dress like you would if you were tie-dying the clothing. Take a pan of grape juice (or the color of the liquid that matches the stain) and let the dress sit in it for 10-30 minutes, depending on how dark you want the color. When dry, the stain on the dress blends in with the new color and you can once again enjoy the dress!

Denim blue jean stains. New denim jeans look great, but the dye in them is not always friendly to your clothes or bags. To remove those pesky blue jean smears from a bag, first wash and rinse it in water. Place a package of Rit color remover in simmering water and soak the bag in the hot water for about 10 minutes. Wash and rinse your bag again and it's as good as new!

Tears and rips in clothes. Kevin uses Mighty Mendit to create pleats on a trench coat and hide a cigarette burn. "I'm obsessed with the stuff!" he admits about the special adhesive, which can also be used to mend ripped pockets and hems.
