Spruce Up Your Winter Wardrobe

"Roaming around the office, we noticed that we all looked alike the other day - black sweaters and blue jeans!" Rachael says, commenting on the cool-weather wardrobes of our crew. "Everybody lives in black in the winter." She turns to her fashion buddy Gretta for ideas to brighten up these outfits and the style guru shares her top strategies to get us all out of the monotones and back into fashion!

Faux-fur vests: Animal prints and furs are all the rage this year, so reinvent your dark turtlenecks and jeans by adding a fashionable layer. "The faux vest is the one item you can add to jeans - I don't care if you have dark rinse, light rinse, anything," Gretta says. "This is going to work and give you a glamorous look!"

Metallic accessories: "This hits on all the trends of fashion right now," says Gretta, suggesting a vest or jewelry with metallic accents. "You can rock the heavy metal with a cuff which is hot, or you can do it in the bib necklaces."

Bold color accents: This season you're going to see winter boots and hats in a rainbow of bright colors that Gretta says are the perfect accent to your existing wardrobe: "Just add a pop of color to your black and then you're good to go!"
