HGTV's Mina Starsiak Hawk has a show "Good Bones: Risky Business," where she renovates a historic 6,000-square foot house in Indianapolis and turns it into a bed and breakfast and event space—but she also recently renovated her own dream home and she gave us a tour. (Spoiler: her kitchen island is epic!)
"The whole house was designed around the fact that I found the biggest island slab I could get and built everything else around it," Mina says. "And the other thing that I did was have the countertop go up the backsplash as well. No grout on the backsplash is huge."
