This Adorable Goat Is Named Rachael Ray—and Owner Shares How She Got Her Name

In the Rocky Mountain Foothills, farmer Kate Johnson started raising dairy goats with her kids—and now she has 15 goats, including one named Rachael Ray.

"My dairy goat farm is the home of the one and only goat named Rachael Ray," says Kate. "The naming of our goats is probably one of my favorite things about having goats. We started with our very first goat, her name was Skittles. So, all of her kids were named after candy. But then we didn't want to keep that candy line going since we'd run out of candy names, so we took the mother's name from the next generation and morphed it into a new theme. And that's where Rachael came in," explains Kate.

And—get this—the little goat Rachael is expecting babies this spring that Kate plans to name after some of our chef buddies. "All of her babies will be named after celebrity chefs. A little baby Bobby Flay, a little baby Emeril Lagasse," says Kate. How CUTE!
