Move over, leopard print! Snakeskin (snake print, to be clear!) is ready to shine in fashion's animal kingdom (at least according to Pinterest's most popular fashion trends!)
And body positivity advocate and original plus-size model, Emme, stopped by to show us three ways to rock this pattern — whether you're a size 2, 12 or 22.
According to Emme, shoulder pads are making a comeback — but in moderation!
"Please ladies, go mild with your shoulder pads," Emme says.
Take, for example, the small shoulder pads in Maya's menswear-inspired snakeskin blazer.
As Emme says, the whole look balances Maya out.
"I love the versatility of it," Maya says. "Being able to wear it from day to night — it's perfect."
It's common for women who, just like Naomi, are shorter but with larger chests to not want to accentuate that asset.
"I just wear big shirts because I don't want to draw attention," she says.
Well, Emme has a solution!
"Go with the ruching, " she says. "[And this blouse is] plunging, but not so much."
She also encouraged Naomi try shorter tops (like this one) that complement her upper body.
Rach said it best. "That dress is everything!"
With this look, Emme really wanted to make Ja Tawn stand out. Enter, a snakeskin dress!
"We accentuated the waistline with the tie," Emme says.
Plus, the suede boot shines through that beautiful slit at the bottom.
