Co-hosts of the "Mom Brain" podcast and straight-up super moms Hilaria Baldwin and Daphne Oz know all things kiddos.
So when a member of our studio audience asked about the latest trends in baby showers (or sprinkles — a.k.a. a more low-key baby shower!), these two had just the right answers.
If you're looking for a simple, yet impactful, gift for your mom-to-be, Hilaria and Daphne suggest children's books.
"You can just ask the guests [to bring their] favorite book," Daphne suggests. "You get such diversity and a collection."
Pro-tip: the mom-to-be can register for books so she doesn't wind up with multiple copies of the same book. (Hilaria and her kids love Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.)
And if you give a book as a gift, the famous moms suggest writing a beautiful note to the mom-to-be inside — which the kids can read when they get older. (Books can also double as cards!)
"They remember who was there and who was a part of their parents' life," Daphne says.
Another hot trend? A beautiful macaron cake!
Grab a tiered stand and set up your macarons with fresh cut flowers. Need we say more?!
