The Hilarious Kym Whitley

The hilarious Kym Whitley is here and she’s talking about what it’s like to raise her three year old son. “What about when you have to make sure they’re alive every night? I’m exhausted! I think mothers are exhausted forever! Like I walk in his room sometimes and I just go [clap]!” jokes Kym. “The best is…no matter how bad my day is, I walk in this house and this little baby boy says ‘Mommy I love you.”

Kym’s show Raising Whitley is based on her life as a mother and how it takes a village to raise a child. “When I got Joshua as a single woman, I knew I could not do this. Everyone helped, I made them sign contracts – that means holidays too. So, we are a family, we’re all committed. It’s changed their lives,” explains Kym. “But the holidays, I make everyone else cook, and I micromanage. That’s what I do!”
