GMA news anchor Amy Robach is sitting down with Rach, and sharing how GMA host Robin Roberts gave her the push she needed to get a life-saving medical screening.
At age 40, Amy (mom of five including three stepkids) had been procrastinating getting a mammogram until a GMA producer asked her to do it on-air. She said no, but after being urged by Robin Roberts, she agreed, only to find out after the mammogram that she actually had breast cancer. Thanks to finding it early, she’s healthy now and wrote a new book about her experience, Better.
